DCB progress

Thursday, July 16, 2020

I have been out on the Gator this morning.  Besides spraying some roadsides, I checked on the double-crop soybeans (DCB).   I think they are making good progress.  All our fields got a small rain last night, .3″ (8mm).  That will  help the cause.

DCB at Elsie field, planted 6-24

DCB at Curt’s Hill, planted 6-24

DCB at Watjen Hill, planted 6-26

More good news today.  The replacement alternator for the JD 7130 finally arrived, and John has installed it.  Seems to be working perfectly.  Now, back to the bush hog job!

New Bosch alternator. Just like OEM, but from local shop.

JD 7130 ready to go back to work!

Progress each day.   And grateful for the rain.
