John has returned to spraying burndown herbicide on pre-plant soybean acres.

The JD 4730 sprayer with 100′ boom gets over the acres relatively quickly. It can go ahead to operate when the soil is slightly too wet for the planters–like today.
That, along with some conservation repairs by Mr. Worland, is the field work possible today. It is hoped that the planters can return to the fields sometime tomorrow. The past couple days of warm sunshine and 77ºF (25C) is helping the cause. Temps are predicted in the low 80s tomorrow. The little corn and soybean seeds we planted on Monday are gonna like that temperature!
It is mid-April, not even to Easter yet… so any planting work completed now is considered a bonus.
We hope you’ll take the time to celebrate Resurrection Sunday this weekend.
