Shop Work

Friday, December 16, 2016

We had Jason the mechanic in the farm shop today.  Two machines got his attention:  The JD4730 sprayer and the 9360R tractor.  The sprayer needed the suspension adjusted (snugged up) and the solution pump rebuilt.  The tractor needed some work on the variable-speed sheave on the cooling fan.  Jason worked diligently, and now the two machines are done.   John assisted Jason throughout the day.

Work like what was done today is viewed by us as preventive maintenance, so that the machines are less likely to break down when the pressure is on!

Jason loads his tools back into his service truck as he wraps up the day's work.

Off to a HS basketball game tonight.  Our SK Spartans visit the Washington Catholic Cardinals in the old gym affectionately known as the ‘Bird Cage’.
