Prescription building continues today.  Approximately 75 are written so far, therefore, these are about 35% finished.

Thursday night was a fairy chilly night… it got down to 1ºF (-17C).  But the bright sunshine is warming the day, now up to 24ºF.  Warmer days are predicted for the weekend, and by mid-week, 60º is predicted.  We will enter that less-pleasant stage of the beautiful snow… when it melts and its gets muddy outside.  Even with the soft ground, we will appreciate the warmer temperatures.  It just hit me that we have not seen the bare ground for more than a month…we’ve had snow cover for that long now… it’ll be good to see the soil surface again!

John had the 4wd tractors and sprayer in the shop recently to service the oil changes and all the filters.  Another step on the way to spring…

3-4 weeks to planting?

Sectional semi-finals are tonight, as our South Knox Spartans take on the Sullivan Golden Arrows.  We defeated them in the first regular-season game of the year, so we’re hopeful about the game tonight.  With a win, we will play in the sectional championship tomorrow evening at 7.  Go Spartans!
