As the day wraps up, we have reached a good point. John has the spraying ‘caught up” in the soybeans. We have done almost all the riparian spraying from the seat of the Gator. We have reached a good stopping point with the Bush-Hog work. Looks like Saturday will be a day off from farm work!
Next week, there will be 10,000 bushels of wheat to deliver, and some more post-spraying in the early soybeans. After July 1, we will mow down the riparian strips along the ditches at the Pond, Dunn, Waldo, and Huey.
Little soybeans are beginning to emerge from the soil in the wheat stubble!
Nicolas’ days are winding down here, and we will miss him when he returns to France.
