We are on our way to a 60+F temperature day… and I have heard no one complaining about it. But we must remember this is March, and this is southern Indiana. The forecast is for snow on Wednesday… I recall from a year ago, we received snow on March 25, and in less than a week, I was out on the lawn mower! The best prediction that can be made is that spring is coming…
We are getting rid of our used oil today, so that we can return to servicing the tractors/trucks for spring work. The oil will be recycled and/or used for heating. This is different from the old days when we just poured it on the farm lot to hold down the dust. The oil-collecting truck should arrive yet this morning.
We were disappointed with the results of the basketball sectional championship game on Saturday night. Our SK team was defeated by Linton. So, the season ends for the Spartans. But it was a vastly improved season, with a record of 17-6. We had some fun this year, but we were not quite ready for it to be over.
Enjoy the sunshine of this day…
