The snow/slush around the shop re-froze overnight, but with temperatures predicted in the high 40s for today, we can hope it melts. You have to walk pretty gingerly around here this morning. Perhaps we will trade this slick slippery stuff for some squishy, soft, watch-where-you’re-walking conditions. It’ll take some days before the ground “settles” again.
We will send some corn to GPC today. The bins are running very low, there are not many more loads to deliver.
The 2510H re-build project is completed… but now we will be installing a video camera on the back before we declare it totally finished. The camera should arrive on Friday and allow us to get that big machine out of the shop.
I read a long-range forecast last week from Purdue that hinted that the cold and snow could stick around through the month of March. That is not unthinkable, some of the snowiest (is that a real word?) times in the past have come in March. In fact, we had snow on March 25 last year. The real disappointment would come if there is snow in April! Here is what the Weather Channel is predicting for us for the next 5 days.
