When we were awakened by the radio this morning, the announcer reported the temperature at -2ºF (-19C).  That was an attention getter!  Then, after the local news report, the next song that was played was Baby, It’s Cold Outside.  How appropriate!

The icicles are getting longer…

We’ve not seen temperatures this low in a long time.  Even so, corn is being taken to market today.  The farm lot is pretty slippery, but the county roads are better and the state highways are now okay.
