The sun is out now, and the dryer is running. We waited for the rain to stop before drying the harvested bushels from Monday. John has it humming along. Philip is delivering corn to market at Robinson’s. Seems like a long time since we’ve seen the sun. It feels good today, the warmth streaming through the windows, and it feels good on your back when you’re outside.
We are down to the last corn field, but it’s going to take some days to dry the fields enough to go back. We got 1.3″(33mm) on Monday, and .08″ (2mm) yesterday. The clouds kept the sun at bay until late this morning.
