I found another two fields yesterday that I could plant.  The East and Main fields at the Burke farm were good enough to run, but not the North field.  I made the trip down there with the soybean drill, and got those about 190 acres planted.  As I look around today, there is not another field quite dry enough for me to plant today.  I guess I’ll just fill the air cart and be ready.  Once May gets here, surely there will be days when I can plant soybeans and be optimistic about the work!

As we were finishing loading the air cart, a small shower showed up and I could see a rainbow off to the southwest!

Rain is predicted for the next 4 days.  We will just see what comes, and respond accordingly.  Have a nice week.
