Yes, it’s cool this morning!   The day started here at 40ºF! (4C)

The weather station in the farm office verifies that it is cool out there this morning. They say it’ll be 80º by the afternoon.

Although it has been a cool start today, by Wednesday, the temp is predicted to reach 96ºF (36C).   Summer is coming back soon!

We will be working with the guys from Montgomery Welding today to replace the lifting drag in the big unload pit.   Hopefully, that will be the last piece to the puzzle to set into place before harvesting starts.

I’m thinking that by Wednesday, we may try getting a combine out in a corn field and trying to harvest a bit.  It looks like we might have some soybeans that will cut by the end of the week.  We started harvest last fall on September 15, and that is really a typical start date for us.  Anything earlier is a a little bonus.
