Yesterday was the warmest day we’ve had in 2020. It got up to 77ºF (25C). In every conversation you heard the words “beautiful day”. It was mostly sunny. Then, last night we heard thunder as we retired for the night. The forecast for today has storms in it.
We received another shipment of parts for the DMI 4200 ammonia bar. We think that’ll be just enough to complete the repair/upgrade task. We certainly hope so!
Our church is participating in a program for our school to provide meals to children while school is not in session. We are the pick-up location for the town of Wheatland. The families receive a breakfast and lunch for 5 days in their boxes. The first distribution day went smoothly last Wednesday. Another set for Tuesday. It is a great privilege to partner with South Knox School Corporation to serve the families in our area.
The rainy spell continues. It appears that we will not be moving into the fields for spring work by April 1. We hope this is not a similar spring to ’19, but time will tell. We will respond to our situation the best we can. It is ‘way too early to panic… in fact ‘panic’ is hardly ever not a proper response! Philippians 4:4-7.
