During the night, we received 1.29 inches (33mm) rain. It came hard at times, waking us up at 130 and 330 am to the sound of thunder and the rain pounding the windows. Aside from a few small limbs down in the yard, no damage was incurred. So, we are quite happy with the rain! It will certainly help our later-planted corn and soybeans. And, let’s face it…all our crops are “later-planted” in 2019…
Also, Happy Birthday today to our sister Sheila Hobson!
