The snow we desired on Christmas came yesterday, when we received a couple inches of snow. It was one of those pretty snowfalls that has big, fluffy flakes drifting to the ground. It was pleasant to sit inside and watch the snow fall. We still have snow blanketing the fields today, and with the current temperature, it should remain through the weekend. The temperature is predicted to rise into the high 30s on Monday, and near 50 on Tuesday. So, this white covering will have a short life. We will enjoy it while it lasts.
The highways are fairly clear this afternoon, but the local county roads still have some slick spots. We are told temps will go down into the single digits tonight.
Have a great weekend. Keep warm out there.
