First day of corn harvest

Thursday, September 15, 2016

We started in corn yesterday.  We worked at the Roberson farm, just east of the main farm on IN 550.  We moved in there about 1030, and about 730, we ‘caught’ the dryer, so we stopped for the day.  It was a trouble-free day, what a relief!  John had one dryer stoppage… it shut down, and sent him a text message.  He found the sensor that was responsible, and just by cleaning it out, he got the dryer going again pretty quick!

Some scenes from yesterday.

It was a really good ‘first day’.
