Rainy Saturday

April 30, 2016

Well, it’s good I got the yard mowed yesterday, because it’s raining today. The planters are parked, and will be for several days.

The 9330 and air drill wait for a drier time to get back to work.

The MX290 has the corn planter under roof on this rainy day. Better days are coming.

We could finish the corn planting task in one good day’s running.  The soybeans will take several days of operation to complete.  White River is above flood stage again, and that will delay the progress of #plant16.  We’re in a pretty good spot, with some April-planted acres.  We will see if this rainy spell makes for some replant work, but so far, none is expected.

Brandon is graduating from Vincennes University today!  Oh, those 4 years seemed to go fast…

Have a good weekend!
