Some snow

Monday, February 8, 2016

Today, we are sending corn to market at GPC at Washington, Indiana.  Along with the truck on the road, we are receiving some periods of snow today.   It’s one of those that is really pretty… huge flakes drifting down.  We probably will not see an accumulation, for the ground is too warm for it to stick around.  Still, it’s nice to see some snow here in SWIN.   It reminds us that it is still basketball season.

More than just flurries, there are times with the air seems to turn white with this fluffy stuff.

There's just enough snow to dampen the roads, and get the Peterbilt a little dirty today as corn gets delivered to GPC

As the day moves on, the temperature is dropping, and the wind is picking up… winter has returned to southwest Indiana…

Have a great week!
