A beautiful morning in southwest Indiana

A beautiful morning in southwest Indiana

To get ready for the snow in tomorrow’s (and Friday’s) forecast, we have installed the blower on the JD 7130 tractor.  That should make it easier to clear away the snow if it drifts deeply into the farm lane.  It’s about a half mile from the main farm location out to the county road.  That’s a lot of road to maintain, and when the snow drifts, there are 3 places along the route that get pretty deep!  Now, with the blower installed and ready, we are less apprehensive about the forecast.  As in the old Christmas song, “let it snow, let it snow, let it snow”.

With this gadget hooked up, we are ready for whatever snow comes. Well, we think we are, anyway...
