We’ve received about .3″ (8mm) rain overnight. But the noticeable thing is the wind! Beginning at dusk last evening, you could hear it buffet the house all during the night. It’s still at it this morning. We expect some rain off and on through today. Then, the temperatures should cool down a bit. It has been near 70 degrees for a daytime high for a few days now. No one is complaining, but it does not seem quite like December. But, we can have any type of days here in southern Indiana. We can recall Christmases in the past when it has been 70º or it has been below zero with snow! Just two years ago, our December was marked with lots of ice and cold. But that is not the case this week!
We are recalling our recent trip to WDW.
No grain deliveries this week, but it should get going in early January. Brandon is sweeping out a couple of soybean bins that have stopped running… he is moving them into our big hopper tank for quicker and easier movement once the soybean deliveries begin again.
We are getting prepared for the Christmas holiday. This is the first time that our family will not all be together at the same time at Christmas. Ben and Philip’s work schedules do not permit them to be home at the same time this year. We knew these days were coming, but we are still grateful that they still want to be home during Christmas! Ben will be flying on Christmas day, and Philip must be at work in Portland, Oregon on Monday morning. No matter, it’ll be all right! Romans 8:28.
Have a great week!
