I read today a special quote. “Why is 47 degrees colder in May than it is in January?” Good question! Yes, that was the temperature when the day started. Mid-afternoon it’s up to 55F. Feels pretty chilly, I had to wear a sweatshirt as I mowed the yard this afternoon. There are a few light sprinkles in the air, too, adding to the chill.
I’m hoping that the rain is slight today, and that it will allow me to return to soybean planting tomorrow. John was able to put on some post-emerge herbicide on beans today, until the sprinkles started. Brandon delivered some corn to market at GPC.
Now, I’m just hoping to get finished with planting this month!
Patience.
