After thinking I might return to planting yesterday afternoon, a 3 pm rain made my decision for me.   And today, it has rained off-and-on (mostly on) all day long.

A return to soybean planting is now several days away.

We did use this rainy Saturday to work on the JD 9330 tractor.  A noisy bearing on the front of the engine turned out to require the replacement of the air conditioner compressor.  Mechanic Sarel from Hutson, Inc. was very effective today.  But it was nice to get that repair done on this rainy day… now that won’t be the cause of a missed half-day when the fields are ready for #plant15 again!
