A little light rain in the area may delay our start of corn harvest today.  We worked yesterday afternoon at the Holscher farm and got it finished.  It was a pleasant, sunny but cool afternoon.  The corn was not as dry as we had hoped, ranging from 16.5 to 18%.  And the yields are good, just not as fabulous as some of the farm press or USDA predicted they would be.
