Overnight, we received another rain. Rain clouds threatened all day yesterday, but nothing came… it seemed to remain north of us here in SW Indiana. But about 1030 pm, it cut loose with a noisy thunderstorm.
So, we received 1.14″ (30mm) of rain. From the sound of the storm, I expected to read 3+ this morning!
After the storm, the temperature is cooler today, 64F (18C) to start the day, and a high predicted of 73F (23C). This will delay the dry-down of the corn and soybeans.
