Today, we’re putting the finishing touches on the set-up of the new grain cart. The tracks need adjusted, and it is being fully lubricated. The rear camera and the wiring harnesses have been installed. It seems to be a good fit behind the JD 9360R tractor.

This is what the new machine will look like when operating in the field. If this cart is full, it will be able to fully load a semi-trailer before it is pulled away to return to the combines.
There is much bush hog work to be done today ( and this week ) but rain is threatening this morning. It will be a happy thing if we receive some rain. John reported this morning that 1-2″ of rain is predicted for tomorrow. Let’s hope that comes at about the 1″ mark, and that it comes over several hours, not minutes.
We still have about 1/3 of the wheat crop to deliver to market.
