Harvest prep

Thursday, June 5, 2014

During this rainy spell, we are taking the opportunity to prepare the new combines for wheat harvest.  The JD S680 is in the shop today, so that the 2-way radio can be installed.  The CIH 8230 was in our shop yesterday, getting a camera installed on the back.  In a day or so, we’ll be ready.

The new S680 combine rests in the shop, as we load the toolbox with tools, and John installs the 2-way FM radio.

Shepards will be wrapping up the conservation construction the Lett farm today or tomorrow; then that last 40 acres of corn can go in the ground!
