The sun is brilliant today.  But the air has a chill, and there is a little breeze adding to the feeling of cold.  Brandon got #7 bin swept out this morning, so mark another one MT  (empty).   Perhaps we can get bin #4 set up with a sweep later today, for it has stopped running and is ready for the sweep auger.  The inventory of corn is running down, and once the January contracts are filled, there won’t be much left here in storage.

We really need a good freeze so that we can apply the nitrogen top-dress fertilizer to the wheat crop.  The soils are too soft today to support the application trucks.
