In between corn deliveries, Brandon and Nick have been working on Ross’ old bobcat… what we call a skid-steer loader. Actually, Ross calls it “Bob”. This thing is very old; Ross found it abandoned, bought it for a song many years ago. He has had to rebuild the engine a couple times, but it is still very useful in his horse barns.

The object of the latest restoration effort. It is a Case model 1816, but we don’t know how old it really is. It’s ready for the orange paint.
When the guys finish with this one, we hope it looks like new. The decals have been very difficult to find. Does anyone out there know of a source for the decals for this old machine?
The temperatures are a little warmer today than yesterday. There is a some snow/rain mix in the forecast for today and tomorrow.
We’ve been missing some HS basketball games… the weather has had the schools closed, and the games have been postponed. It has been a real headache for the ADs around Indiana. We are eager to get back in the swing of things.
I will check with Chip to see if they can locate a source for decals.
