The temperatures are pleasant today. The night got down in the low 50s, and the high today is predicted as mid 70s. Perfect for people! Less so for corn and soybeans.
Wheat is going to market today. Brandon and John are out in the Vision and the Pete to deliver wheat to ADM in Newburgh, Indiana. There may be 3 more loads after this morning’s trip. By calculating the actual delivered bushels, the wheat crop yield this year yielded about 85 bu/ac… a pretty good average!

These two trucks, the Vision on the left and the Pete on the right, are headed to Newburgh and ADM to deliver wheat. Brandon is in the Vision and John is in the Peterbilt.
In other good news, today is the first birthday of John and Ashley’s daughter Ella Marie. This is a day to celebrate!
