Maybe?

We will take a drive around to the various soybean fields to review those that have been planted… to check on the conditions…to see if the beans have emerged.  The other priority is to check the unplanted fields to see if/when we can re-engage in planting.  Only two days’ work is needed to finish planting soybeans.  My guess before this inspection is that we would need 1-2 more days of high temperatures and strong winds to dry the soils sufficiently to return to planting.

We may also identify some small areas that need to be re-planted as a result of last Thursday’s heavy rain.

Rain is predicted for tonight.

Our hearts and prayers go out for the people whose homes and farms and businesses that were affected by yesterday’s storms and tornadoes in Oklahoma and Kansas.
