Ross is planting corn here at the Home farm today. Not perfect conditions, but not bad, too.
Here Ross begins in the Mailbox field at the home farm.
Ross stops briefly to dig into the freshly-planted row. He checks to see how properly the seed lies in the soil. He and John decide it’s okay.
Ross resumes on his way to complete this 23-acre field. At 24 rows with each pass, it won’t take long…
Tomorrow, I’ll go plant some soybeans.
What a great feeling to get started…
