Rescued…

After examining the double-crop soybeans after the small (.28″) Monday rain, I am encouraged about the germination and early growth.  I have visited each of the fields, and found that the little rain was enough to get the soybeans sprouted.  The germination of the soybeans now seems adequate at this point in time.  If I had to make a “replant” decision today, it would we ‘wait’.  Probably by the weekend, the emerging beans should be visible coming through the soil.  We will continue to evaluate the ‘stand’ of beans after they emerge.

John is spraying Roundup on some soybeans today, Philip is mowing roadsides, and Ben is on the ‘suntan machine’.
