Today, Philip, John, and I went to Louisville, Kentucky for the National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS).  The weather conditions were off-and-on foggy as we traveled to the south and east.

This show is the largest indoor exhibition of agricultural equipment in the USA.  We certainly do not try to see it all, for that would days days of walking every aisle.  But we did hit the highlights, and a few specific exhibits we wanted to see.  I was interested most in the control panel of the GSI X-Stream dryer, and of course, anything John Deere.

We had a later lunch at Rocky’s, which is an Italian restaurant across the Ohio River from Louisville.  Then, we returned home via scenic highway Indiana 60, through Salem and Mitchell, Indiana.  The sunny and warm (53F) afternoon made for pleasant travel.  We were back at the farm by 430pm.

I did some bookkeeping, and wrote the weekly paychecks.  There is no SK basketball tonight, so this may be one of those rare evenings at home!
