After many, many days of rain, we are finally delivering some corn to Robinson’s again.  Philip is doing the driving, and I am helping with the loading.  John is away today, down at Wright-Stemle to help install the ammonia controls on the new 2510H application bar.  The local streams are bank-full, and there is some flooding in the fields at Cox and Pond.  White River is also above flood stage, but not a severe amount, only in the ‘bayous’.

Tomorrow, we will spend the day with my sister Sheila and her husband John Hobson at Aurora, Indiana.  It will be our Christmas get-together.  I’m grateful that the pace has slowed enough for us to spend some time in other activities.  Last Saturday, we were in the audience at the Purdue Musical Organizations (PMO) Christmas showWhat a spectacular event, Pat and I have attended each one since 1973.  We had a good visit with Ben, and the weather was pretty comfortable, at least for West Lafayette… no snow, no wind, and temperatures in the 40s.

Have a good week.

Dennis
