We finished the corn harvest this afternoon. We went back to the Huey farm after lunch today and were able to complete the harvesting our our last field of corn. The field was a little soft and the road by the field was muddy in spots, but it turned out to be better conditions than I expected. So, Ross and I had another of our traditional ‘that crop is done’ handshakes.
It certainly was a beautiful, cloudless October afternoon. We are grateful for a good corn crop.
