It’s off-and-on rainy today, with occasional patches of sunlight bursting through the clouds. The wind has really picked up, and it feels pretty chilly. We are on hold as far as field work is concerned. We received rain yesterday and some on Tuesday evening, too. This has stopped any progress toward planting. Yes, both the corn and soybean planters are filled, and ready to take to the field. When the weather clears and the soil dries, we are eager to go. With the temperatures predicted to go down to the low 30s tonight, we are content that seeds are still in the planters or in inventory. But when the soil conditions get right, those planters will roll!
