The parts for the repair of the augers in our Demco 1350 grain cart came in today. Brandon picked them up at JL Equipment in Princeton, Indiana. After removing the old augers many weeks ago, (see post for Jan 5, 2016) we had them evaluated for repair at our preferred welding shop, Montgomery Welding. They suggested that we replace the augers, rather than repair them with new flighting. So, we ordered new augers from the manufacturer. It’s now our task to install them.

The new Demco augers are here… guess we’ll use these days ahead of planting time to get them installed.
Our forklift and our shop will facilitate this installation work. Heavy lifting involved!
