It’s not too bad out there this morning.  The wind is calm, and the temperature is mid-20s.  But the forecast for this afternoon, tonight, and tomorrow morning is not so great.  They are using the words “sleet”, “freezing rain”, and “ice” as well as “snow” for our part of SW Indiana.  If they were just saying “snow”, then it would not be as much of an attention-getter.  This stuff is predicted to hit here about 3pm.   Already, we have seen some basketball cancellations for tonight.

Of course, we will have to wait and see how it really all turns out.  Sometimes the forecasters seem a little bit too dramatic.  Do we put the snow blower back on the tractor to get ready?
