The sun is shining brilliantly after an overnight rainstorm.  There is not a cloud in the sky this morning.  The temperature is rising, but should not quite get to the ultra-steamy day we had yesterday.

John was able to spray some soybeans yesterday, but he had to ‘pick his spots’ to stay out of the mud.  Brandon ran the bush hog at Huey, making the riparian strips look much better, and improving the way for Haley to spray the woody sprouts in the ditch.  She was able to work at 3 farm locations to spray with the suntan machine.

The bush hog will need to run along many roadsides, and that can occur if the rain holds off the remainder of the week.

There is another crest coming on White River toward the weekend…

The Knox County Fair runs next week.
