Well, it took me 3 days to get it posted to YouTube, but the newest video finally got uploaded. Click on the YouTube icon at the upper right of the home page to take you to the 6 1/2 minute aerial farm inspection. This video was taken Tuesday morning the 23rd, and it shows the rainwater and river floodwater damage at our Freddie farm location. All the video we took Tuesday helped us evaluate the extent of the water damage on 3 farm locations… and to prepare more accurately for replanting.
We received another 1″ (25mm) of rain last night. The lightning show was spectacular! And the thunder ‘rolled’ on and on. This will delay the chances of replanting the flooded areas. I checked at the Pond farm Wednesday afternoon, but it was still too muddy to replant there. We should be able to get back into the Pond, Waldo, Burke, and Dunlap before the farms that have White River flood waters on them. Let’s keep hoping that replant can occur soon!
Have a good weekend, everyone!
